Similar problems to earlier review. Made a firm booking by email for a room we had been in 6 months earlier (with no particular problems) but found when we arrived that they had extended the stay for an existing guest pointing out to us that he was a doctor, there for a conference. I too am a doctor and didn't see why this was relevant. I was the one who had made a firm booking. I was taken to another pension a few doors down to a vastly inferior room. No apology or recompense offered. When we moved to leave it was pointed out that there was no space anywhere because of the conference except at the most expensive hotel. - asssuming we would be discouraged by this comment. At this stage, we would have paid whatever necessary to get away. Like the last reviewer, we were returning to the area in the future. This hotel lost a regular twice yearly booking for the next 4 years. Their loss, not mine.
