My husband and I stayed here 3 nights over a long weekend. I can't say enough good things about the hotel. Location is great, right in the center of old town. Each room is named after a different author and is decorated accordingly. We were in the Hemingway room and it was decorated with a big-game motif though not over-the-top... more

All you can expect from a boutique hotel was there. Personal attention, wonderful service. That combined with good food, great location - a definite would-go-back. more

Nice themed hotel - each room is named after a literatury figure or theme, with lots of books and stylish interior. The staff is the best, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Also good location in a quiet, but central area. more

Although my stay at this hotel was already in 2007, I want to add a review as I read so many bad reviews now and I can't believe this hotel has changed so much within the last 1.5 years. My experiences: - We had booked 2 nights but as we loved Vilnius, we prolongated our stay another night which was... more

I am intersted to see the review from the American guest which was so negative. I have always worked on the premise that to avoid disappointment, lower your expectations! I have stayed here many times since 2005. I have to admit that on the past couple of occasions there has been a rather surly male receptionist who appears to consider... more

This hotel is clearly too expensive (186 EUR for one night), but other hotels were fully booked. Hotel rooms are highly depressing - I thought that only the name was British but everything has such an atmosphere: old-English style rooms, without too much light. Why to propose that in Lithuania? Heating system / Air-con system was not working in my... more

This is a very nice hotel. Staff were friendly, hotel common areas delightful, breakfast well presented and enjoyable, room service prices reasonable and fruit basket in room every day along with coffee and free wi fi for laptop. In my opinion it is also in a very convenient location just 5 mins walk from main street and 10 mins from... more

I really liked this B&B style hotel. Maybe the staff have been replaced, but they were friendly and helpful. Nothing like some of the bad reviews suggested. They would always come to the desk when they heard a guest coming. Always greet you and genreally created a conversation as best they could. My room was a single room and was... more
