The Barbacan gave me a very good rate as I was staying for ten days and although I was given a room with no balconey it was a quiet refuge duing this busy stay. It also has suites with balconies for families. The room very clean and comfortable, quite large, although I had to request a vacuuming which wasn't done... more

Our first surprise - on arrival, we were told we'd been upgraded. Don't know why, hotel obviously not overbooked. Suite absolutely fabulous size, bigger than my flat! King-size bed in king-size room, second bedroom (we are a couple - did they know we fall out all the time?), adequate bathroom, big lounge with multi-channel tv, well-equipped kitchen (not kitchenette!). All the previous reviews were right: Barbacan Hotel is a nice one, placed in the Old Town of Vilnius, just a few min. walking from everything in the city center. The location itself avoid any kind of noise due to traffic (the hotel is facing a very small street), and, expecially in the morning, it is nice to go outside... more
