Don't be fooled by the pictures on the website - the G9 doesn't have any liveried doormen, and the large beds may be in the renovated rooms. A great place to stay. Ok, so it's not in the pretty cobbled streets of Tallinn, but it is just a five or ten minute walk from all the pretty streets. We felt safe, the room was clean and airy and it was excellent value for money. more

If you're traveling on a budget, the G-9 is ideal. Or if you'd just rather have more $$ for shopping.... Don't be put off by the lack of elevator - it's only 3 flights and you'll thank yourself when your bill comes. Rooms are basic, but the location is great and the hotel emphasizes security. Hotell G9 is maybe a five minute walk from the Viru Gate of Old Town Tallinn. Hostel-feel rooms are spotless. Computer provided in the room and internet can be purchased inexpensively by the day. Really an excellent value for the location. more
