Firstly the location is great, at the quieter end of the old town. The reception and eating area was initially quite impressive, attractively built against the old town wall and old mill building, with a gentle slope up into the first floor of the hotel itself. Access to all other rooms is by lift - stairs were for emergency access... more

This is warning, the hotel practise double booking!! I reserved a twin/double room in march 2009 and I also paid it in advance. The hotel send confirmation email to me in april and everything was ok until.. When we came to Meriton Old Town hotel in august 2009, the guy at reception said that we don't have a room. He... more

Very goog placement - in old town and just 5 min wlking from cenral square. If the you come to spent much time in hotels - it is not the best variant cause of very small rooms. Although it's anough comfortable, clean with with very polite service. It's best for young people. more

We stayed in the Meriton as part of group travelling to a football match. An overnight flight meant we arrived at the hotel at 6am but our rooms weren't ready until 2pm, if I was going again I would consider booking an extra night so that we could sleep as soon as we arrived. We were invited to have breakfast... more

Nice hotel with an ok location. Friendly and serviceminded receptionists. Clean and tidy. The room was the smallest doubleroom I have ever seen. Nice bathroom, but also very small. Free internet. Expensive cafe and minibar. The elevator was also the smallest one I have ever seen. But all in all a good hotel. more

I really loved this Hotel. It is in a great location--you can walk to many small cafes and museums. Yes--the rooms are small but most are in Europe. This may sound silly but my favorite feature was the super hot shower. I could have stayed in it for hours. Overall the hotel is fairly quiet--i would request a room that... more

We stayed here last October and travelled to Tallinn on the ferry from Helsinki which was a great way to arrive. I have to echo the other reviews. The hotel is a lovely conversion and in a good location inside the old walls but the rooms are tiny - and the low sloping ceilings provide comedy moments if you are... more

Great location yes, and very quiet. Beautiful building with clean and smart looking common areas. Unfortunately when we booked a triple room we were told we could either have a suite or a family room 'in the attic'. Except that the 'attic' was the basement!! We only had a sliver of a window, like in a prison. The third bed... more

Stayed here for three nights and apart from a personal preference for a firmer bed, have nothing but good things to say. Staff were welcoming, helpful and always present; breakfast was simple but tasty with fresh cereal, ham, cheese, pastries and boiled eggs; bathroom was clean, large, with good water pressure and constant temperature (and no smell!); and of course... more

We stayed there for 4 nights. Our son having a room on his own. Rooms are small, but comfortable with simple furnishing. The combined Breakfastroom&Cafe&Bar has a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was good! Staff at the reception were polite, nothing more. We payed about 60 Euros pr. room pr day. This was my second time in Tallinn. I do recommend finding... more
