it is the best hotel in Tallinn for this price. it is well located, close to the center and harbour. Clean and friendly staff is another plus. the only minus is the breakfast but you can't expect everything with that price. I can't complain at all. more

This place was OK - not enough staff on reception - huge wait to check in - and further from the Old Town than we expected - took 25-30 minutes to get to old town centre. Internet access was good - breakfast was good. more
We stayed at the Portus for 4 nights in July '09. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the Old Town, although we felt pretty safe even at night around the port. The rooms were basic (e.g. no hairdryer in the room), but quite spacious and clean - towels were changed on a daily basis. Noise from cars... more

Nice hotel, just in front of the ferry harbour terminal. The location is safe (the greatest problem is to watch finnish people arriving and leaving with thousands of alcoholic drinks :) ). Not so faraway by foot from town center (10-15minutes). The staff is nice and pleasant. Maybe not the best staff for breakfast but in general everything is OK.... more
Portus Hotel is situated in the Tallinn Harbor area, but it is still near enough the City Centre. Nice to leave your belongings after you arrive at the harbour, and also nice to leave the City, because the harbour is in the neighbour. Rooms are big enough even for a larger family. In the morning you can enjoy delicious breakfast... more
Clean basic hotel, reminds me of an Ibis hotel, ok for stop over. More of a solo traveler place, not very romantic, unless you have a Scandinavian college dorm fetish ;) Good and free Wifi more
