Service: excellent, hotel staff was always helpful
Room: small, but nice and comfortable
Location: almost in the centre of the town, close to sea

the Hotel Kolumbs is a new hotel but comes recommended for pretty much everyone. cost an average of £60 per room for 3 rooms for 1 night (in peak season).
Pros:
1) clean and modern with excellent bathroom.
2) decent location within walking distance of beach.
3) decent breakfast.
4) friendly staff (this is not always the case in Liepaja unfortunately).
5) good outdoor bar area.
Cons:
1) our room was warm and the fan provided did little to help, although other rooms had air con.
2) room was small.
