We stayed here for a few nights and were not at all impressed. They market themselves as "the trendiest hostel in Riga" however when we arrived our ensuite had not been cleaned at all - it was filthy (really disgusting). The room was very noisy - noise coming from both within the hostel and the street noise outside. The bed was really uncomfortable and had a sheet that only covered three quarters of the mattress. Although the staff seem friendly, one was a bit bumbling and made a few mistakes... we were given a quote via the internet in Euros but when we settled the bill we paid in LVL (cash). We stupidly didn't ask how the currency would be retranslated from euro to LVL and at the airport realised she had given us an exchange rate 15% WORSE than what the airport currency exchanges give. more
