Great, actually! I looked for a totally relaxed choice of a hotel just to stop overnight at Riga airport. There are good reviews telling the rooms are small, but clean, really, and all furniture, beds, bedsheets are new and neat. I slept well without hearing any jet engines. Personal is friendly. The rooms are very basic but it is a short walk to the airport terminal and very handy for the number 22 bus which goes straight into Riga. The breakfast was a pleasant suprise - more substantial than expected and the dining room very quirky and interesting with an aeronautical theme.

Strange hotel to find in 2012. Very old soviet feel to the place though staff friendly enough - breakfast a novel experience too. Great for the terminal and easy access to/from city transport.

On first sight the Sky High looks like a leftover from the Soviet era, a dull, low concrete slab. It is however much better inside with helpful and friendly reception and quite nice rooms which despite closeness to the airport are silent and enable good sleep in large comfortable beds. Non smoking room stinks of cigarettes, reception unfriendly, no minibars. Only stay if you have a very early or late flight to / from Riga. You can find much better deals for the same price downtown.
