We loved this little boutique hotel with its lovely decor and friendly service, having stayed for several nights in November 2004. There are little surprises everywhere, perhaps a niche in a wall containing a simple flower in a vase; perhaps an odd, thick wall where you wouldn't expect one. Really lovely hotel, the rooms are beautifully decorated and the lounge/bar area is very inviting when it's cold and snowing outside. The reception staff were always very nice and helped us to enjoy our Christmas. i liked where the hotel was even though it didnt look like a hotel on the outside. reception staff were great and there was always 2 or more on . rooms were very nice, comfy bed and heated bathroom floor. the rooms very clean and cleaned every day to an exceptional standard. on the down side: breakfast was appalling.the booklet... more
