Nice little hotel on the edge of the Old Town and is also very convenient for Bus & train stations and bus to the airport. Paid 55 Euros for the room. Although small, it was adequate. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom pretty spacious. Breakfast forgettable. Receptionist on arrival could do with a course at 'Charm School' but thereafter... more

Hotel Forums is extremely conveniently located, and walkable/bus-able/tram-able from everywhere you need to go. We had a junior double for about 54GBP (108 USD?), which was very clean with a well stocked mini bar and an operational TV. There wasn't a view, though, but we were in one of the cheaper rooms. What I didn't like however, was the the... more

A clean warm comfortable hotel with friendly reception staff, located just inside the Riga Old Town boundary, although i had some problems finding it , the first evening, when i found my bearings - what a great location this turned out to be. Buses, trams and Trolleybuses on the corner. Train station across the road, yet 5 minutes walk to... more

We opted for the Forums Hotel because of its proximity to the bus station and, after an exhausting journey from Warsaw, Forums provided the welcome rest we needed. Although the room and bathroom are not large - particularly for the price - they are clean and comfortable. The room had a TV and a fan, for which we were grateful.... more

During our short stay at the hotel. We didn't have our room cleaned and the only reason we got clean towels is that we waited at the reception desk till they got fed up of us. Breakfast was a joke, we asked for one thing and got something else completely different - when we asked about it the waitress laughed... more

The hotel is across the road from the bus and train stations. But they are on the other side of a wide road, and the hotel is round the corner, down a side street, so you get all the convenience but none of the noise. In fact, I wasn't troubled by noise at all during our stay. I guess if... more

Stayed here for a short break in October 2005. Chose the hotel mainly based on price and location. The location was excellant. You could walk pretty much everywhere in the old part of town. The staff were always helpful and friendly. We never managed to get up for breakfast but there were lots of places nearby to eat so it... more

The Forum hotel ($120 USD) was 100% improvement from our stay at Hotel Riga ($200). The Forum had up to date/European décor. The bathroom was marble and large; we did have a shower curtain and hot water. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We had satellite tv and lots of closet/drawer space. Unfortunately our room did not have A/C although... more

This hotel may be a OK choice during the winter. But it has absolutely no air-conditioning and staying on the 2nd floor and up can be deadly during the summer months. They finally gave me a fan on the 2nd day but I will pay the money to get an air-conditioned room in Riga next time. more
