As someone else wrote, it was HOT - I suspect I was there at the same time. I asked for a fan, but was told they didn't have one. the air conditioning was "being worked on" but apparently hadn't been working before my stay for 2 weeks ! We stayed at the Albert for 2 nights and when it came to the end of our stay we didn't want to leave. The rooms were very comfortable and the shower was great. The beds were very comfy. The bar was lovely to sit and relax with a cocktail on a sunny afternoon with stunning views of Riga. more

Great value for money hotel. We got an internet special and the total price was excellent, considering it included a very comprehensive breakfast. The staff were excellent and spoke perfect english and happy hour in the 11th floor Star Bar is fabulous. Would definitely stay here again. more
