Stayed our first two nights in the Algarve at Quinta Arruba. It was beautifully decorated and furnished and had great facilities for guests. We were the only guests but there was plenty space and the villa is situated in among carob trees. Jane and John were very welcoming and friendly. We walked into Tavira which was about 25 mins away... more

My fiancee and I stayed at Quinta Arruba for two nights in mid May 2009. Jane and her friends were the perfect hosts. The accommodation was lovely - purpose built last year and very comfortable, plus we loved lounging around the pool. Great location for exploring the Algarve as it is a two minute drive to the great little village... more

Jane & John were the perfect host's to my first solo holiday. Nothing was any trouble, amenities unending, if you have any requests they will do everything possible to help you. Accomodation perfect,everything supplied, they even had an adaptor which I forgot to pack !!. Walkable distance to town, and so many nice beaches and eating places, very peaceful too.... more
