We stayed 9 nights in this nice place. Clean, comfortable beds and a very pleasant owner. Tavira is a charming and authentic village with plenty of restaurants and cafes with terraces. We have been birdwatching every day and from the Inn we could cover a wide range of good spots, including a trip to Alentejo. The rooms have a fridge... More

We really enjoyed our stay in Tavira Inn, which has a pleasant location on the river. The train is rather loud but as others have mentioned it is quite infrequent and it even became one of our jokes as we waited for it to arrive. It also isn't too early or late so it doesn't wake you up at night.... More

Somewhere a bit different from the standard hotel, with real character.Sebastiao welcomes you warmly and is justifiably proud of his intimate small hotel. The room was spacious , very clean. and with great decor. The pool was a refreshing bonus which we both enjoyed.Location is good, just a short stroll to restaurants etc.Sebastiao is really helpful and a great source of local knowledge.Overall,... Tavira Inn is a wonderful place to stay if you want to be very close (a few minutes' walk) to the centre of a beautiful historical small town ( with sandy swimming beaches not too far away) - and yet to feel away from it all. The peace and quiet of Tavira Inn's ambiance is extremely relaxing, and best of... More

We chose Tavira Inn as we didn't want a large, busy hotel and were happy to have fewer facilities. It turned out to be a really lovely place in a very convenient location - just a short stroll along the river to the Plaza. Sebastiao's creative talents are in evidence throughout the Inn with its tasteful decor and quirky art... More

A truly wonderful place! The salt water pool and the individual decor of the place combine to make Tavira Inn an idyllic getaway. The room was tastefully decorated, the shower was powerful and the bed was very comfortable. Sebastio is a great host who gave us good tips about where to eat and a complimentary drink in his private bar.... More

This place has real charm and a charming host in Sebastiao. We felt very at home. In the hot weather it was a real treat to get back to the hotel and take a swim in the pool. And great to talk to Sebastiao about his love of jazz music! HIghly recommended. More

We stayed here for one night, wanted to stay for more!!! Awesome place! Rooms are amazing, location is amazing, easy walk to town square, but far enough away for it to be nice and quiet. Great salt water pool! The host, sebastiao is super nice and give lots of advice about tavira and Portugal. Even offered us a lift to... More
