Spot on for the unique atmosphere and ambience; a mixture of an artist creating a living space and a cozy inn. Sebastio uses his career in hotel management and his artistic flair to create a one of a kind experience at a price that will surprise. Making the acquaintance of the proprietor is worth more than the price of the... More

We booked the standard room for few nights. the guest house is at 10min walking distance from train station. We got a long flight to Portugal and was hoping to get a nap in the afternoon to recover . But the noise of the train passing by on top of the inn ( afternoon) was too much. We also bothered... More

Yes it is true, i am very happy with most of the reviews i get here. Concerning your stay I have to tell you that if you sleep with windows open and lights on during the night at the bath room you will get bugs. Noisy ? you were informed that the place is by the railway bridge ! but... More

We were looking for somewhere out of the ordinary, with a friendly, welcoming feel. We certainly came up trumps with the Tavira Inn. Sabastiao was the most welcoming host we can recall, the Tavira Inn was charming, interesting and very comfortable. The pool looked really inviting, but in mid April was still too cold to swim in, so we cooled... More

So glad I chose the Tavira Inn for my short stay in Portugal last week. Beautiful and interesting decor and lansdscaping, both inside and out, one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on, and an excellent host in Sebastiao and all at a very economical price - what more could I have wanted? The Inn is conveniently situated... More

This is an interesting, comfortable and very economical small inn that sits almost under a high railway bridge, and just across the road from the river that runs through Tavira. You can't hear the trains from inside because of the extra thick glass used for the windows. There is an arty, tastefully eccentric ambience to this hideaway; original art hangs... More

Great week at Sebastiano's Taviria Inn and he provided guidance on restaurants and places to visit locally The small Inn is within easy walking of the centre of charming Taveria and we also had a great visit to Seville using local buses

I had a wonderful stay at the Tavira Inn, Sebastiao is an excellent host who lives on the premises and speaks perfect english, he's never imposing and always helpful with his local knowledge. The room i stayed in was comfortable and clean, apart from the occassional train overhead, the area is quiet and just a few minuites walk to the... More

Fantastic stay at Tavira Inn!! Sebastian treated his "hotel" more like a guest house. He was very friendly, and very helpful with recommendations all over Tavira. We especially enjoyed his restaurant recommendations. Thanks Sebastian for a wonderful stay!

Tired of trying to find a place to stay on TripAdvisor in Tavira? Tired of reading monotonous posts. We were and so we randomly booked Tavira Inn. And doing so was a good decision and it is a good place for couples but not families. If you have a chance to chat with Sebastiao he has some good tips and... More
