This is an older hotel with all the amenities, but a little tired. Rooms were not what you would expect based on the website, being more inline with one of the better budget hotels. In the end, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast bar was decent. more

I recently stayed at the hotel initially for 8 nights and then 2 nights. The first stay was in a deluxe room, which overlooked Essex Street. The room was large enough, with a balcony which was nice. The beds are too soft, and need duvets instead of blankets. The bathroom is adequete with a good supply of toiletries and towels.... more

I enjoyed my week long stay at the Esplanade Hotel. The rooms were clean and serviced daily. I did not eat in their restaurants however I did order room service dinner on one occasion.
