we stayed for our final night on queen charlotte track.our other 3 nights were superb .we stayed in a chalet with a deck .clean but certainly no frills .we had dinner in restaurant and found food adequate but the flies intolerable,and therefore skipped breakfast.the staff were pleasant .this place could be wonderful but needsmoney spent on refurb and fly control... more

Our cabin had a double bedroom, a twin room, small kitchen, nice new bathroom and large lounge, as well as decking outside. The location was fantastic and we had heard a lot about this place. One night was certainly enough. It was the most expensive part and most disappointing part of our 3 week Holiday. We booked a chalet, and for over $200 were expecting alot more. The door had trouble closing and the kitchen was old and dirty. There was even an old BandAid in the shower. The lady at the desk was helpful... more

We did a day trip to Furneaux Lodge on a lunch cruise. We order the Fishermen's Platter, thinking that this resort tucked deep within the Marlborough Sounds would surely offer a tasty selection. What we got was half a plate of wedges, and a mixed selection of fish bites, crumbed prans, samosas, spring rolls .... AND CHICKEN NIBBLES ... all... more
