We stayed here for three nights to "do" the vineyards and part of the Queen Charlotte track. All the rooms have a superb view over Queen Charlotte Sound. Stayed there one night Jan 09 before taking the ferry to Wellington. Wish we could have stayed longer as it was a great place to stay and the surrounding area had much more to offer than just catching the ferry. Excellent location and very friendly owners. Unit was spotlessly clean with good quality furnishings. View over harbour and marina was perfect especially from large balcony. more

The motel is in a great location, close to the terminal and the local shops and restaurants. When booking I asked for a standard room. A reasonable place to stay while waiting for the Ferry. Management were friendly and helpful. Recommend Montana Winery if you want a tour. more
