From the moment we arrived on Waiheke Island the lovely owners at Breakfast on The Beach took care of us. The location, setting, rooms, breakfasts, dinner recommendations were perfect. Marilyn and Keith- who own the lodge -are excellent hosts and made our stay most enjoyable. They lived in the US so were a font of knowledge about their county as compared to the US. The best Bed and Breakfast ever. Great location within walking distance to shops and beach. Modern large rooms with every attention to detail. Our hosts were great, even offering complimentary nibbles and wines in the evening. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts in the morning were magnificent. Would highly recommend. more
