A deceptively large place with 3 living rooms, 2 rented bedrooms and 2 terraces which offer amazing panoramic views over Trinidad. This Casa is just down the road from the main Plaza, about 10 minutes walk from Plaza Mejor and close to the train to Valle de los Ingenios.
The house is well kept and clean and the room I rented had air con, fridge and a large, modern en-suite bathroom. Melvi is friendly, helpful and the meals she cooked for me were great and by far the best I had in Cuba, never mind Trinidad (the food in Cuba is generally awful!). She speaks a little English and is learning more, but you'll get a lot out of chatting away in Spanish with her.

This was probably the best casa I stayed in in Cuba and was pretty cheap too. I had 4 nights here.
