We were originally booked at CASA FONT (referred to by Frommers Guide) but our reservations were not honoured upon arrival. I later learned that Casa's do not like bookings made thru Tour Agencies as they are often no-shows. Make arrangements directly with your casa of choice. We found the address to Casa Meyer in the Lonely Planet forums and decided to try to stay there during our time in Trinidad. Casa Meyer is a 2 minute walk east of the bus station. The home itself is a 200 year-old colonial home with beautiful antique furniture. Inside it has a lovely courtyard and a garden with banana... more
