I stayed at this hotel for three nights for business. My cabbie from the airport knew exactly where it was. The other four cabs I took to the hotel needed convincing that there was a hotel there. In its defence, the hotel is very new. But there's a reason people need convincing of its existence: it's in the middle of... more

The room was nice, comfy bed and pillows. A mirror in the room would have been nice so that I could do my makeup/hair while my husband was in the bathroom. Bathroom was clean, nice glass shower, no tub. Parking is valet ONLY ($30 per night on top of room fee) and we waited over 1/2 hour to get our... more

Stayed overnight at the Courtyard Washington and found it to be really nice. New, very clean hotel with modern decor. Staff cordial and helpful. We had a corner room with lots of windows. The entire area seems to be under construction and there didn't seem to be much to do in the immediate vicinity, but the metro is steps away. more

I travel to Washington a fair amount, and I am always discouraged by the high prices of hotels, even when my business pays the bill. I got a weekend deal too good to pass up at this hotel, so despite the location and warnings that the neighborhood is being developed, I decided to take a risk. All in all, this... more

This hotel was extremely clean, and the rooms were set up very well. Looking out our room window, we could see the train, but we never heard it at night (stayed 2 nights). Pool area is nice, good size. Having the train walking distance from hotel was a BIG plus (since I didnt know where the hell I was going)!... more

If you are the type that wants to step out of your hotel and be right in the center of the action, this property FAILS. But if you are the type that plans your time in DC with an agenda, this hotel works great. Metro is right next door. My room faced the front of the hotel (Metro tracks are... more

My sister and I traveled to D.C to visit a friend. We planned on staying at his place but early in the day we were sick of carrying around our bags (he couldn't meet us until later that night) and wanted to take a shower. I am a Marriott employee so I get a good discount so we decided to... more

Brand-new and looks like it...very modern and chic style. Comfortable. Being a new hotel, there are some kinks still left to work out in their service, but they fixed everything quickly and very well. Our room was big and comfortable...they even had various pillows from soft to firm to choose from. HDTV. Very clean. Bistro in lobby had great breakfast... more

I read a couple of reviews before staying at this Courtyard and almost considered changing hotels. However, since I was using Marriott points I didn't have much choice. I thought the hotel was great and the service above great. My son managed to leave his cell phone in the room before we flew home. I was panicked, but checked the... more

we booked this hotel when it first opened so there were no reviews. At the time I was under the impression that it was near the Capital building (since it's part of their name) but it's actually nowhere near the capital or anything else for that matter. The metro is literally steps aways from the hotel which made that part... more
