It's clean. Staff is really lovely. Gigantic place so get ready to walk a good 10 minutes from the meeting rooms to your room. Absolutely no personality. more

This historic Washington hotel offers beauty and comfort along with the historic touches. The rooms in the Wardman tower are the historic rooms, offering smaller closets and smaller bathrooms, but adequate for a short stay. The federal style furnishings add elegance to the spacious room. Pillow preferences were addressed quickly, as were some small maintenance issues. Well equipped fitness center... more

This hotel isn't bad, but it is very overpriced. I don't imagine DC is a very cheap place, but still - I've stayed in hotels that were simultaneously both nicer and cheaper in other expensive areas (e.g., in downtown San Francisco and in Nice - including the awful exchange rate). This Marriott has no internet access in the rooms, unless... more

My fiancee went to college in DC and has relatives there, so we go down a few times a year, and we'll return to the Wardman Park Marriott, assuming we don't find any specials in better locations. And that's my main problem with this hotel--location. We drove to DC, but we prefer to take transit once we arrive, and though... more

Overall the hotel was quite nice - but certain things were lacking 1) The concierge service was not the best; they did not provide me with their recommendations for restaurants, only a map of the area. It was useful but with literally hundreds of choices, guidance would have been nice. 2) The lobby internet was a disaster and made it... more

We stayed in the old tower, which used to be an apartment building. It's been well updated and richly appointed. Good food, good bars, good pool. more

Just got back from a four night business/pleasure stay at the Marriott Wardman Park. This is a huge hotel - about 1,300 rooms, that is a few miles northwest of the mall/DC attractions. We stayed in the historic part of the hotel which as others have mentioned, is a good walk from the lobby. Our room was clean but rather... more

I booked a stopover at the Marriott Woodman Park for my wife and infant son, on our way to his grandma's house down in North Carolina. Marriott was running a special $100 room rate for pre-paid reservations. Overall, the hotel was a pleasant surprise - it's one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in at that rate, the room... more

I stayed here for a congress, and it was fine. It's a huge hotel and can take 5 minutes to walk from one end to the other. I stayed in the Wardman tower, which is the older part of the hotel. My room was very spacious, but a little outdated in decor. It had a large walk-in closet and a... more

I stayed at this hotel for a convention. The hotel is enormous--so much so that you can imagine it being on the Las Vegas Strip. It takes awhile to get the hang of the hotel and demystify it. It's located in a quiet residential location. There are many great restaurants located on Connecticut Avenue outside the hotel. It's also a... more
