We liked this hotel, the location is great, only 3 blocks from the White House and there's a Metro station opposite the hotel. Our room was very clean and we had a fridge & microwave which was handy. We paid for breakfast, and found it to be extremely good value - there was a very good range of hot and... more

This hotel was excellent, although not cheap given the current dollar/pound exchange rate, but certainly somewhere I would consider staying again. The location was excellent, only minutes fron the White House and other major tourist attractions. Staff, especially the concierge, were excellent and very welcoming. Room was very large, comfortable and clean. Free wi-fi in room plus free business centre... more

Excellent location. Many DC attractions within walking distance and a Metro station across the street. Rooms are just like every other Hilton Garden Inn room you've ever seen. The bed in our room was HARD. Which I don't mind, but some might. I do wish hotels would quit doing the down comforter as the only blanket/covering other than the sheet.... more

To begin with, the curbside staff ignored us until I unloaded my luggage myself then, trolling for tips, they offered to get a cart for our one suitcase (weekend stay). I declined. Check in was smooth, although I had to remind the clerk that we were using the Hilton "weekend getaway" plan that included breakfast and parking in order to... more

I called the hotel at the time of my reservation to make sure that I had two adjactent rooms with a door between them. They told me over the phone that this wouldn't be a problem. Upon my arrival, I was told that this request couldn't be accomodated. One of the maintenance men saw me going between two rooms and... more

We expected a Hilton Hotel to be very good. After pricing most other hotels in the same area for the same dates we chose the Hilton Garden Inn for the reasonable room rates. It turned out to be a great Hotel in a great location for us . Very Clean, nice bar and restaurant, good service, and access to the... more

Reallly small cozy hotel downtown...with warm cookies that were always waiting for us...we had an ongoing joke with the front desk...when we'd come in...they would say we kept these cookies waiting just for you...they were warm chocolate chip cookies...it was a good way to end our day. Our room was quiet and clean...late one night we heard lots of noise... more

The hotel was good in terms of location. everything was in close proximity but the sound from the road was so loud that it really didnt give us much time to enjoy the hotel. but the fact that it was centrally located was one good thing that made our money worth. but if someone is really looking for a romantic... more

Mattress and bed linens were great, room was nice, very good location BUT my room was on the back side and the beeping sound of garbage trucks in the alley starting at 4:30 a.m. was horrible. Make sure you are picky about the room location you reserve. more

Stayed here at the end of March to see the Pompeii exhibit. This Hotel is great! We walked to everything and our room was quite nice. Staff was very friendly and we felt completely safe staying in this section of downtown D.C. Will stay here again next time we visit Washington. more
