The room is of good size, 2 rooms and a sofa bed. The sofa bed is ok but you cannot compare it with a standard bed. The hotel is packed between 2 other buildings, so very few rooms will be facing street. The one I had is facing other rooms or apartment (see photo). The kitchen has everything you need... more

Just returned from a four day stay at Homewood Suites in DC. After reading several of the more recent reviews, I was a bit concerned. However my fears were set aside upon arrival. Stayed here with hubbie and 2 kids . . . extremely friendly, helpful staff. Nothing fancy, but clean, spacious rooms and good location near smaller city neighborhoods and restaurants yet short walk to metro to the Mall and museums. Breakfast was nice . . . earlier arrival means more choices! more

If you're not huge walkers (we are, some of the rest of the group, not so much), the metro was quite far. The place itself was very nice--usual free breakfast & amenities--very crowded after 7:30 a.m., though, so be prepared. This is a fantastic place for people with small children! Great breakfasts and dinners. Huge spacious rooms with FULL kitchens! Great location and friendly staff. Love, Love, Love this place and will be back when we are in DC again. more
