We had to cancel our reservation at the Intown Uptown Inn because of my elderly father's illness - and Sandra from the Inn sent him flowers! Nobody is ever going to do that for you at the Holiday Inn!! We are coming back to DC in the winter and will be absolutely sure to stay here. more

Sandy was an incredibly gracious and kind host. The house was gorgeous, the room was very nice and clean, and the breakfast was amazing. Aside from all of this, Sandy provided snacks, directions, and all of the little touches that made our trip just wonderful. more

I was incredibly busy with work when I stayed here, and I regret that I wasn't able to spend more time at the inn. Sandy and Whitney were incredibly hospitable and helpful, the rooms were all beautiful, and the atmosphere was lovely. I would recommend this place to everyone! Business or pleasure. more

The place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the Wisteria Room, which was exciting, tasteful, and very very clean. The hostess is also very diligent but not imposing. You get maximum privacy. more

My colleague and I travel quite a bit and we have stayed in more than our fair share of quickly forgotten, non-descript, homogenized hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts. This Lovley Victorian B&B is over 100 yrs old, but has been completely refurbished. Located on 14th street about 9 miles north of the Mall. Very convienent to bus & metro lines. We enjoyed our stay at The Intown Uptown Inn very well. It is a very nice place and a good destination in the north of Washington D.C., a few miles away from downtown. Plenty of parking lots are available around, at no charge. Stops for public transportation are nearby, so forget about your car during the stay. The nice innkeeper... more

I went with my partner to the Intown Uptown Inn for just one night - on a staycation. The owners were welcoming, the decor was beautiful and everything had a touch of elegance. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed my brief stay and wished I could stay longer. more
