Last month I was in DC on business. I flew into Raegan airport and took the metro to the Woodley Park metro stop and walked to the Kalorama. The front desk person was nice and helped me with my luggage. The room was great..I think it was #14. It was very quiet, clean and the bed was very comfortable. I... more

I stayed at this location several times over the years of visiting D.C. I loved the location. In my recent trips to D.C. they seemed to always be booked. So, I was so excited to have my husband experience Kalorama. Well, we will never be going back. The first night there at 4 a.m. both of us were woken up... more

I took my 13 year old son to DC as an educational holiday. I lived there for several years a while back and knew the Adams Morgan neighborhood to be pleasant, interesting and convenient. Especially with a AAA discount the rate for a room with private bath at the Kalorama Guest House seemed very reasonable. Overall we found the accommodations... more

This is a B&B with decent rooms at a moderate (by Washington standards) price on a leafy residential street. It is not a full service hotel and is not being reviewed by those standards. Some small drawbacks by B&B standards are noted in the review. Note: Desk is not staffed after 9 PM. Instructions on how to pick up keys... more

My partner and I stayed at the Kalorama Guest House in mid-August 2008 and had a very comfortable stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable and the staff was attentive and helpful. The location is great if you enjoy the interesting restaurants and fun clubs of Adams Morgan, which is just steps from the Guest House. We felt very well... more

There is nothing particularly wrong with this B&B. But nothing really great, either. For example, the breakfast was OK, but items kept running out and the toaster only partially worked. The rugs could stand a little cleaning, but, overall the place was acceptable. One caveat. This B&B consists of two houses, the main one at 1854 Mintwood and the other... more

I havent seen such a rotten cheese! Its like staying in one of the worst old apartment! Tiles are coming up from the bathroom, internet never work, and bunch of other things. Worth 10-12$/night. 8 $ for breakfast which will not be in very clean vessels. 50 cents for watching TV which people usually throw away. 50 cents for using... more

We stayed for two nights and I would have to say it was very pleasant. We had two rooms which was great. The beds were more than comfortable and slept as though we were home. The place was extremely clean and the bathroom had just what you needed and also was very clean. Bring your own hair dryer... There was... more
