I had to visit DC on a short notice. My "normal" hotel was booked. So I needed to find an alternative. This hotel has become "my" hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. The room was great, the food was delicious, the service was polite and hospitable without be solicitous. One small example, I needed to return to the hotel... more
I'm a big fan of Tripadvisor, but I'm beginning to realize that the placement or ranking doesn't really say very much. My cousin was getting married and his room block was set up at the Washington Marriott just a block away from this hotel. I originally called the Marriott to book a room, but the reservationist was abrupt and dismissive.... more
I spent two nights at One Washington Circle. The location was very good, within walking distance of Georgetown and downtown (20 min). My room was quite spacious, and adequately furnished. Staff was fine, but not particularly friendly and the breakfast was fine. For what it offers, the hotel is a bit overpriced, but not outrageously so. more
Stayed 6 nights; had large living room with large dining area and table. Bedroom with nice king bed; ample pillows. Large closet. Full kitchen, but we did not eat in. Good a la carte room service breakfast. Good air conditioning (it was unusually hot for April). Nice desk and free wireless. I've stayed in several suite hotels in this area,... more
I stole my title from poster below, and I think it is accurate. The room was reasonably large, and fairly well appointed. It was a bit worn and had a small bathroom, but it was functional and had all the necessary amenities. We booked at a special rate, $99 for the night, which is basically a steal near the Georgetown... more
We paid $100USD a night which was good for the price. We got upgraded for free to a large suite which was great. Great free toiletries. Basic gym old treadmill, bike and weight machine. Staff were a bit clueless but friendly. Police station, Fire Station, Hospital very closeby so you hear sirens all day/night which was the only downer. Could... more
I was in D.C. for a 2-day meeting, and brought my family along for a spring break vacation, for a total 4-night stay. My children (10 and 5) were delighted by our spacious suite, and it was convenient to have the second bathroom. We had expected a kitchen and brought along breakfast and snack foods. Shortly after we arrived (but... more
Location is pettry good- close to M Street- Staff nice enough. Room overall was a bit worn (but clean) and there was a strange sound that we heard thoughout the night. You can hear your neighbors in adjoining rooms and the hall traffic. Aveda products were a nice touch. For the price, there are many other hotels that I would... more
When we arrived to the hotel, I was surpised to hear they hold $50 per person in the room...Which was surprising to me, I had always just had a $50 hold for incidentals, and they immediately held the room charge and the $150 for incidentals. I had never had a hotel do that before and was quite surprised, luckily we... more
