The only good thing I can say is the location is terrific. Right next to the metro and the neighborhood is delightful. The hotel itself is older and the rooms are small and need refurbishing, the furniture is chipped, chair leather cracked, carpet worn. The bathrooms are tiny. But the rooms were clean. The staff was not helpful at all,... more

The computers in the business center were abysmally slow with an unchangable, very low resolution that made it impossible to fit even basic web pages on the screen. I don't know normal parking rates in D.C., I assume they are high. But fyi parking in the hotel garage was $35/night. Pool closes labor day. Hotels should be based on customer... more

The room was not big but enough room around the bed. Both sides 3 a 4 feeth. Lighting was 5 movable lights, 2 with dimmers and 1 floor-standing. Several with extra mains plugins e.g. for charger or laptop and dimmers. 2 Fixed lights. Slept with the window open on the 3 floor, hardly any noise from the street during the... more

I travel to DC very often. This was a disappointing stay because the room was small, the service poor, the lighting so marginal I could hardly read. The location is great (right near Dupont Circle metro). The room was too small for my wife and me to both move around the bed at the same time. Minimal lighting made it... more

I would have expected this place, charging $300 per night, could have updated its fitness room in the past 2 decades. It was really awful- like fitness centers of hotels 15 years ago, dark, dank, terrible equipment. Both the fitness center and dining room are in the basement- and both need updating immediately. The decor in the dining room was... more

Arrived to Washington for business trip. No other vacancies in the area so had no other alternative than to stay at the Hilton at a hefty price of 300 USD / night. Check-in was ok. Rooms very basic without any frills (no hairdryer, no bathrob etc.). Rooms have probably not been renovated in the past 10 years. Had to sleep... more

From the moment we walked in, I knew I picked the right hotel. Everywhere we went, the staff greeted us warmly. The rooftop pool is the perfect place to unwind, the rooms are very clean and the location, just steps from Dupont Circle and the metro, can't be beat. True, the rooms are small and I wish the carpet in... more

We rented two rooms at this hotel: one for us, and one for my mother who was traveling with us. We arrived early, and one of the rooms wasn't ready, but since it was lunchtime, the staff put our bags in the room that was ready and gave us a list of recommended restaurants within walking distance; so, we had... more

I stayed here with my teenaged daughter in July. Check-in was quick and friendly, but when we got to our room, it was the opposite of my advance request -- high floor, far from elevators (our room was low floor, across from elevator). We went back down to see if another room could be had. The front desk person couldn't... more
