The free breakfast was a plus, however I would have to say that service there is only so-so. There was an evening manager's reception where they served wine, beer, and other drinks along with a snack which was also a plus. Rooms were ok, and decent for large families since they have suites, but next time I'll probably stay at... more

Rooms are comfortable. Everyone in the family loves the breakfasts, esp the kids. They can make their own waffles, order omelettes, get cereal and fruit, etc. The Manager's happy hour is also a nice way to relax after a day of sight-seeing; free appetizer and drinks (soda, beer, wine and some mixed drinks). Parking is expensive per day. more

We really enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights in Sept 2009 partly because the suite was so big and we had a King bed, but also because we like the surrounding area in Dupont Circle, not to mention "Happy hour" and the ease of using public transport to get there. We took a taxi from Union Station, having arrived... more

As my title suggests, I have marked my highlight of this hotel. (In common with most Embassy Suites) there is a 2hr happy hour in the early evening with a free bar, which is a good saving. The snacks aren't up to much though. The breakfasts are also delicious but be warned there are major queues as a result, get... more

I forgot an entire drawer full of my belongings in my room. Realizing this only after I unpacked on returning home to Atlanta, I contacted the hotel housekeeping and was delighted with the service provided by the Housekeeping Manager, Angelo Blakely. He personally searched for my belongings by checking with his staff and had them shipped UPS the next day.... more

Just returned from a seven day stay. It is located about five easy blocks from Georgetown. Just north of hotel is residential area that is quite nice with many restaurants to the North (as well as Georgetown). Grillfish a wonderful seafood place is one block to the East. The Metro is four short city blocks away so decide if you... more

The room was a little worn at the edges but otherwise, very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a suite and there was enough space for the three of us to move around and relax. The free breakfast was hot and plentiful and the concierge services were quite helpful. For a nominal fee per day, they provide parking for their... more
