Beautiful lobby, very convienient location. METRO stops right in the basement of hotel & Old Towne Trolley Tours has pick up location right outside hotel-both making travel to various destinations very easy. But also within walking distance of many attractions. Room was very nice, modern, quiet and clean. Helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again. Must try breakfast at deli... more

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Washington DC October 16 -- 20, 2009. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to everything Washington DC has to offer! Plus it has underground access to the Metro which is nice, especially when it is raining. I had a king bedded room, Atrium view on the second floor. The room... more

The Metro Center rail station is inside the building, and has the Blue, Orange, and Red lines. This was nice as it was raining on the weenend we went. We went for the general DC sightseeing weekend, and this hotel was perfect. It was within walking distance of a few well priced restaurants and brewerys and there were 3 restaurant/bars... more

Enjoyed a 4 day week-end in October showing the 'granddarlin' the best of D.C., and stayed at the Grand Hyatt, because they had a great last minute, senior rate of $81.25. So we had a great rate, an outside room on the second floor, 2 comfy beds and a spacious bath...near where we wanted to be, downtown D.C., with great... more

I stayed with my boyfriend over the weekend of Oct 9/10 and we had a great time. Big TV that my boyfriend loved! Comfortable bed with beautiful bath. I didn't have any noise issues. We stayed on the 10th floor that overlooked atrium. Loved the Starbucks in the lobby and the sportsbar had great tvs for football. The concierge gave... more

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the location was perfect. I left my Blackberry charger at home and made one call and I had a charger in 10 minutes. I also left my iPOD in the room after checking out and the cleaning lady came running outside to bring it to me. I will... more

I don't understand any of the negative reviews as I thought this hotel was wonderful, especially for the $99 rate I paid! 10 min walk to the Mall and all the sites. Room was clean, comfortable, updated. Staff was helpful and even received a 50% coupon for the breakfast buffet. When I come to DC again, I would definitely stay... more

Rooms are not very private. If you have a room with an adjoining room door it is unbearable. I stayed for 4 nights on night 2- I asked to be moved to a room without the adjoining door which was refused as they said they were booked, yet on line they were still taking reservations for that day. Obviously they... more

The hotel is very nice, and the location is great - near the Metro Center metro stop which connects to multiple lines. It is connected via underground tunnel, but still, a 2 block walk. You have to really watch where the entrance to the tunnel is in the station, it can be easy to miss when you come back to... more
