The rooms are stylishly appointed and very quiet. The staff is absolutely fantastic here. Extremely efficient in their day to day operations, very friendly and attentive. When the keys were misplaced to my car at the end of my stay, they worked tirelessly to not only rectify the situation, but make it "right". I would not hestitate to stay here... more

Stayed in the Helix for three nights. Very helpful staff from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. Rooms were very well organised, we had a king sized bed and a pair of bunk beds. I stayed for a long conference so can see the issues raised in the other reviews. The decor is pleasant, but will wear quickly, feels a bit like a Target ad, not the lap of luxury. From the moment we stepped in the draped, sliding front doors, we were welcomed by friendly staff. Really enjoyed the overall decor, too. Our room was set up nicely- and Mabi was the best. Very warm neighborhood- and within nice walking distance to the Metro. We'll be back! more

Whether you're coming to DC for work or play, Hotel Helix is the place to stay. Staff was very professional and courteous. Hotel was clean and orderly. We stayed 3 nights in a beautifully decorated suite.
