We stayed at this hotel for a small weekend getaway and we were very content with our stay. The rooms were very nice and pillows VERY comfortable. I would've expected an HD flat screen tv but it was one of those standard box ones. But that's ok - we weren't there for the TV after all. Internet you have to... more

We chose the hotel because of its proximity to Union Station, the Capitol, indoor pool, and reputation of the hotel brand. We were highly disappointed: food way overpriced ($8-$9 for a bowl of cereal!), the hallways were dirty the entire time, the pool was smaller than it looks in the photos and shut down for maintenance (adding huge amounts of... more

I was disappointed with DC as a whole, so my views may be tainted, but ill be as honest as possible. Firstly, the hotel is amazing....its as glam as it looks on the website, as posh and it looks and more. The parking, $40 a night is a proper rip off, and im sure if you're happy to do so,... more

My husband and I stayed at this Hyatt from May 23rd to may 27th 2009. I was thrilled about this location, we were within walking distance of most things. We were a few blocks from Union station, 2 blocks from the Capitol. If we didnt have the Hop on Hop off bus, we could have walked everywhere. The staff here... more

From the valet staff at arrival to the same staff at departure the Capitol Hill Hyatt was a real treat. Twin 6 year-olds had a blast in D.C. and especially at the hotel. From Room Service to the Pool to the Front Desk, Bell staff and all of the staff we encountered in the hotel we felt at home. Jessica... more

we stayed at the Hyatt Regency 10/4/09-16/4/09,hotel wasn't that busy,so we where checked in and in our room within 15 minutes, lobby area, restaurant and bar area was spacious and clean. Cannot comment on the price or service as we didn't use these facilities. The rooms/bathrooms were also spacious and clean. The location of the hotel for The Capitol, The Mall and... more

The lobby and rooms are decorated well. The food in the restaurant is very good. The hotel has an indoor pool but no hot tub. The beds are very comfortable but no flat screen TVs in the regular rooms (in the suites though) and the doors on our closet were broken. Had to stay in a smoking room the first... more

First of all there was a fire alarm at the hotel, and the alarm did not go off on the 6th floor. Our students were sleeping, and the security had to knock on our doors to get our students out, or else, they would have slept through it. Secondly, the service was the worst I have ever had! We asked... more

I've read a lot of reviews of this Hyatt over the past 3 months and wondered if we had made a mistake in booking this hotel for 4 nights. I can say without a doubt, I'm glad we booked this hotel. We checked in on Wedneday 4/8/09 and was greeted nicely and efficiently in just a very few minutes even... more
