I have stayed here many, many times since 1998. The remodel is wonderful; the updated interior look was needed. There is now a more cosmopolitan/Euro look and feel about the place. I was able to use the fitness center, which I love, but it is not free. Staying at the Hyatt on Capitol Hill is always treat location wise. Your... More

Clean, decent hotel with good rates. Walk to Union Station, the Capitol and the Mall but blocks away from all of these so you need to be up for a good walk. Great beds and TV. Updated room design. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bar and restaurant on premises--all rather pricey. On the down side, no free wi-fi, breakfast was... More

It's very close to the Capitol building. The hotel is very clean and the staff is professional and kind. We were a honeymoon couple and they offered us a wonderful treats! The only backside is probably that there are no restaurants around the building and it's a bit far from the major restaurant area. Nevertheless, it's true to Hyatt quality. More

The rooms are true to all photos - contemporary style, quite spacious and very comfy bedding. Given the fact there is a fire house directly across the street, I must say the sound-proofing must be incredible. Our window looked right across at the fire station, and the engines were being called every 15 minutes yet we never heard a single... More

This is a very nice hotel - exactly what you would expect from a Hyatt - quality rooms, furnishings, bed, bedding, desk, lighting, TV, bathroom, towels, amenities, etc. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. My room was directly across from a fire station, however it was surprisingly quiet - I could barely hear anything (so nothing to worry about... More

This is a pretty average hotel all the way around. It is clean and the rooms are fairly comfortable. You want to stay here if it's important to be in walking distance to the Capitol and the mall. The Sunday brunch is a bit pricey but it's not easy to find a place to eat in the neighborhood on a... More

This is an excellent choice for a hotel to do business in the DC area - I stay here all the time (20+ nights per year). Easy trip in from Reagan Airport, close to the various Administration departments, walking distance to Capital Hill and the legislative offices, 2 blocks to Union Station - the location cannot be beat. The staff... More

I was overwhelmed by the customer service at this hotel. All the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was very central. A short walk to Union Station made this very convenient for getting around the Capitol Hill area. Surprisingly, my room was directly located across the street from the Fire Dept. I wondered if this might be a... More
