This was a great hotel....Marriott does not disappoint! Had 3 adults and three small kids. We fit in the room just fine (with blow-up mattress!). The view we had was incredible (city view) and PERFECT for viewing the fireworks over the national monument. I read all the reviews, worried, but booked it anyways for the location. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is beautful and the location is fabulous. The rooms, including the bathroom, were a bit small. The pool was great and the weight room was bigger then most. Room service worked after a long day of sight seeing. Plenty of families... more

Other reviews will tell you this hotel is in a great location, and it is - very close to the White House, the Mall and all the mounuments. For starters this is a business hotel and caters that way. However I stayed here on a two night weekend package at $149 pn and you couldn't beat it. Nice smart hotel and then there's the location.
