For a hotel that was charging $270 US a night I was extremely disappointed. From the dated décor to the dirty room I was extremely disappointed with the L'Enfant Plaza Hotel. Aside from the location to the Mall and access to the Metro I would avoid this hotel at all costs. I recommend staying closer to DuPont Circle. more

Our stay at this hotel was made more enjoyable by the Metro Station right under the hotel lobby. Although the entire mall area is within walking distance, we had a pregnant daughter-in-law and a 2 year-old, so the Metro helped.
