Stayed here 2 nights. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is an historical building, which is nicely maintained and very charming. We booked a standard room but were given a room with a separate sitting/living room and bedroom. The furnishings were attractive without the cookie cutter hotel room feel. The linens and pillows were very comfortable. Bath products... more

This was a disaster. I was in town on business and end up in this dump. The one nice thing - close to convention center. Staff not pleasant - Room was ridiculously small and claustrophobic (and I am not) It was dank, old and completely a terrible place to be. Business center is one paid computer, gym is once or... more

My husband and I just returned from our vacation in D.C. and stayed at the "charming & historic" Inn. We looked at the website and found it to appear cozy and inviting. We read some trip advisor entries, some very bad, but felt the pics looked well enough that we would form our own opinion. WE MADE A BAD DECISION.... more

If you like to travel the way my husband and I do, this hotel can't be beat. The location is within walking distance of all the major D.C. sights, as well as the shopping and restaurant areas. The hotel itself is charming and has a boutique feel to it. Yes, the rooms are small, but have all the necessary amenities,... more

I have loved my stay here-- this isn't a cookie-cutter chain hotel, it's historic and charming. It's true that the upholstery on the pull-out sofa is threadbare, but this in now way detracted from the spacious room, the historic feel, the fabulous location, and beautiful decor, and the gracious staff. If you want something besides the chain hotel rooms and... more

I really want to love Morrison-Clark Inn, but their service lacks and their staff is not empowered to make critical customer service oriented decisions that would make their mistakes less painful! Case in point: My partner and I were seated for breakfast Sunday morning and after sitting for 20 minutes (only one wait person) I got up to ask if... more

Staying at the Morrison Clark was like being in another time: no plastic, real keys, white linens, turn down service and quiet! I had an interior room overlooking a courtyard through a lovely bay window. Granted the room was quite small but since I was alone this actually made my stay very cozy. Room service was swift and polite-- I really... more

the hotel sits on Massachusetts Ave and there is significant street noise all the time. Additionally, there is currently major street construction on the side street that adjoins the hotel. I was awakened before 7am by extremely loud banging and heavy equipment noise. There was no sign up when I checked in warning me about this. I complained to the... more

We stayed here after finding their property on a Washington DC Hotels Website. It appeared to be similiar to a B&B and was reasonably priced for the 1 night we were going to stay there. We booked our reservation on the same day and dealt with a desk staffer who seemed to be less then happy I choose to use... more

I had great expectations for this Inn based on the website and the pictures provided. It fell far short from what you see on the site. The Inn itself is very nice, quaint and filled with wonderful character, antique furniture, and photos. The restaurant is nice, the service in the evening is wonderful and the food delicious...but very pricey. We... more
