I have always liked the Kimpton Brand of hotels, but the Palomar is in a league of its own. The Palomar is a very good hotel in DC. They do try to accommodate you and some of the rooms are huge. The gym is good, but it needs more equipment. They have a big empty space and they could add another exercise bike so nobody has to wait. Also, if you're placed in a single you've drawn their "priceline"... more

Hotel Palomar is the best. Nice-sized, modern, chic rooms at the most reasonable rate in DC. Urbana, the hotel's restaurant and wine bar, is awesome.
