My friend and I spend 7 nights here and were very pleased. The rooms were very big and comfortable, the location is perfect (close to Metro and many restuarants) and the staff is WONDERFUL. We were greeted upon arrival with smiling faces. Everyone was helpful through out our entire trip. One day we broke a pair of glasses and they... more

For over $330 (that includes $36 overnight parking) we got a large room, a very tiny bathroom with two towels and no in-room coffee pot that is found in any other hotel I've ever stayed in. There were lots of big pillows on the bed but no duvet cover, only two sheets — one above and one below the duvet.... more

This was my first time staying in Hotel Madera. I was in town for a friend's bachelor party. I booked the room through a third party website that did not allow me to specify the type of room I wanted. I ended up paying about $170 a night for what turned out to be a HUGE room. It must have... more

We took the train up from Richmond and spent the night at the Hotel Madera. We arrived very early (around 11) and were checked in quickly and with no fuss. Our room was large, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was quite small ,but well stocked and very clean. The huge giraffe-print bathrobes were a nice touch and very comfortable.... more

My stay at the Hotel Madera was wonderfully comfortable and convenient. The room was stylish and convenient. Typically Kimpton. It was very reminiscent of their Hotel Nine Zero in Boston.
