Excellent location for shopping, bars and restaurants, and close to Georgetown University...the reason for our travel. We had many relatives there for our son's graduation from grad school. We have never had worse car valet service -----even for 2 cars. First, the valet people could hardly understand English. My mother and I stayed at the Latham over President's weekend and found the hotel to be gorgeous, clean, well maintained and the staff was very helpful. The lobby is absolutely beautiful and the room amenities of Rusk products were helpful as we didn't want to check our luggage due to liquids. There is a CVS about 2 blocks away... more
