Even in the run down ghost town of Trilingua Texas in a Hotel that bearly has running water and has antenna ears on the television did we have a better stay. We arrived to a hotel which we cannot check in early or even before 3pm. Our room had stains all over the place, the television which was supposed to... more

It's kind of out of the way, but that's probably what makes the Marina Village Inn so affordable. it's a nice place next to the water and the rooms were nice. The soaps are so luxurious I felt guilty opening a bar just for my one night stay. I'd definitely stay here again. more

This was easily the best hotel value I've ever experienced. The room was clean and well serviced, the views were breathtaking and the morning breakfast and Bath and Body toiletries were much appreciated. I love the local, non-corporate feel and the staff were completely accomodating. Marina Village Inn can't be beat for the price, but at any price, it's still... more

Everything was great except one thing, I tried calling at the reception several times in the evening during the middle week on Monday but there was no answer at all. This has happened in the past too. more

Booked the room on their own website. Was $37 including tax for a Monday night. Pros: Clean room. Good amount of furniture. Very quiet area with nice view of the water and city. Low price. Staff was friendly. Free continental breakfast was very good: Bagels and cream-cheese, butter, milk, orange juice, 5 types of cereal, danishes, english muffins. Pool is... more

I really enjoyed my time at Marina Village Inn. The staff were very friendly. They were most helpful in helping me plan a little sight seeing around the area, giving directions, and tips for using the mass transit system. The accommodations were clean and comfy, and the view was incredible. If ever in the area again, I WILL be staying... more

After being in the car for over 12 hours, it was a wonderful surprise to arrive at this quaint and secluded hotel!!! The room was very clean and had nice amentities (Bath and Body works). Free parking was excellent. If you don't mind driving 10 minutes from Jack London Square/Downtown Oakland, then I highly recommend the Marina Village Inn. The... more

The hotel itself looked great upon arrival. I have to be honest and say that i agree with all the other reviews about the receptionist. She was very unprofessional and a bit rude. Other than that, the room was exactly what i had pictured it'll be. Very clean, blanket had no holes, heater/cooler was working, all the lights were good.... more

I arrived on November 4, 2008 for my interview and I booked to stay on this hotel. The staff did not inform me that there will be a non smoking deposit fee of 125.00 then she kept asking me for cash and a credit card, i did not have any of those. i asked her where is the nearest bank... more

I had called this hotel first to see if they offer discounts. I was told to go on their website as it was cheaper. Since we only needed a place to put our heads for the 1 night, I took the cheapest as it was dark when we were going to arrive and leaving early in the morning. Booking through... more
