I booked this place through Hotwire because it was cheap. But with two cab rides (from BART and to the airport), it ended up being more expensive than lots of nicer properties. Booked as a Travelocity weekend package while on business. Instead for flying into SF or SJ I elected to utilize Oakland Airport. Hotel location is minutes from the airport located in a business park. Minimum traffic to get there via rental car. Room and kitchenette (not used this trip) were clean and neat. Stayed there twice this year. The first time was fine for us, since the location (near the airport and our daughter's home) was a good fit. It's not so much hotel as an apartment house. Room has a full refrigerator, microwave, etc. No restaurant; no room service, no shampoo, no new towels or sheets; you're pretty much on your own.... more

We were stuck with a smoking room and were told no other rooms were available. The bedspread had some unpleasant looking stains on it and the air conditioner was extremely loud. The hotel was also difficult to find at nighttime due to poor signage. On the positive side, it was tastefully decorated. more
