We used our Disney Vacation Club points to stay in a standard view room at the Disneyland Hotel. That means a view of the parking lot. We requested a roll-away bed prior to our arrival, but because we didn't arrive until after 7:30 p.m., there were no rooms left that we move to that would be large enough to accommodate... more

Although I was traveling with co-workers to a medical convention held at the resort, I was happy to be staying on a Disney property based on a past stay at the Beach Club Resort in Disneyworld FL. Wow, was I disappointed! The Hampton Inns I stay in are MUCH nicer than this hotel. Sad, tired, dated decor. Towels that are... more

It's nice after a long day at the park to be able to stroll past the throngs of people waiting in line to board the parking lot tram and be in your room in 10-15 minutes. The monorail has a station near the hotel, but wasn't very reliable the during the time we were there, so we walked. The rooms... more

We really enjoyed being that close to the parks and it was very nice to have a short walk back a night. But for the money this hotel was awful in almost every way. The turn down service was terrible, they did not even take way used water glasses. The rooms are small, dated and have no amenities. Not even... more

If you want the magic of your visit to Disneyland to stay with you all day and night, then stay at the Disneyland Hotel. The decor of the room is strictly for Disney fans -it's brilliant! Staff made wonderful recommendations on how to visit each park and were very helpful arranging transport to our next destination. The location is the... more

I would not reccomend this hotel at all. The staff was no help at all. Directions to our room were 'go that way and across the pool, you'll figure it out'. The rooms are VERY dated and need serious renovation. Tiny refrigerator, no microwave, no fan in bathroom. Turn down service.. yeah right. The meal at Goofy's kitchen cost me... more

If you are looking for convenience, then this hotel is for you and your family, so as long as price is not an issue. The "high season" had just started. The room is basic, with turndown service daily. Make sure that if you want some quietness along with your high room rate, be sure to ask about a room facing... more

True to its theme of "Dreams" the stay here was a dream. from the fireplace in the lobby to a wood finish to a piano playing some fairytale tunes to the food to the room itself. a chocolate placed on your turned sheets was the thing for sweet dreams. the private access to the park makes it even more enjoyable.... more

The plus side for our room was it's location to Disneyland and Downtown Disney, however, now that we are back home we have buyers remorse. We booked our room months ahead of time, with taxes and fees, the total was about $320 per night. When we got there the "whimsy" that was advertised was actually a tired motel feeling hotel... more

My husband and I stayed for our anniversary for 2 nights and found the hotel to be great. I asked to be upgraded to a nicer view room in the dreams tower and all my requests were met. We have visited Disneyland twice a year for 8 years and this was our first stay at a resort hotel. There are... more
