We stayed for 2 nights in October 2009. Very close to the ball park, and even to Disney and highways. Rooms are the usual with a small kitchen. Most guests are for extended stay and cooking odors can be overwhelming. Train tracks at the property line, goes by during the night. Not horribly loud, but light sleepers will notice. OK... more

Our family travelled from New Zealand to visit Ananheim and all of its attractions. We hired 3 rooms for 3 weeks. The hotel surpassed our expectations. The staff were always friendly, courteous, and willing to offer help to this bunch of downunder newcommers. The trains were only heard when we had the windows open, and certainly did not bother us... more

This is not a luxury hotel, but a convenient and comfortable spot to stay. It is literally across the street from Angel Stadium, Amtrak, and metrorail. Not for the family going daily to Disneyland. more

The TownPlace Suites by Marriott, a Campbell Lodging hotel, was one of those mixed review hotels. FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Very tropical looking on the exterior. However in the lobby at check in there were dirty napkins and cups on the counters. Operation's Manager didn't get the idea that we were waiting to check in because she went about continuing her work.... more

First, I would like to address the issue of the train noise. My family (2 adults and 2 teenage girls) checked into a 2-bedroom suite. Our suite was as close as you could get to the train tracks and, yes, we did hear the trains when they passed but it was not a problem and it did not wake us.... more

I want this to be as objective as possible, so hopefully you will find this helpful. We (2 adults, 2 kids) checked into this hotel for five (5) nights, to enjoy Disneyland. The price was right ($90 per night with AAA discount). However, upon check in they told us that as since were staying for 5 nights, we were considered... more

Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. It is located right near the intersection of the 5 and 57 freeways. Very clean throughout. Marriott beds are the best. The only negative (small one) is the tiny, tiny fitness center: 1 bike, 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical crammed into a small room. more

This is our second stay at the Towne Place Suites. Clean and the staff was great. Free coffee in the morning, cookies in the afternoon, all enjoyed by my family over the 5 nights we were there. The staff was always ready to help. We stayed in a 2 bedroom which was nice, so when we put the boys to... more

I had a two bedroom kitchen unit on the second floor. It was as close as you can get to the train signal and the tracks. I tried to listen for the trains and maybe heard two trains but never from my bedroom. I never saw a train longer than 4-5 cars, so any noise was very brief. The people... more

My wife and I along with our 2 teenage children stayed at TownPlace from June 3 to June 9, there is nothing wrong with this hotel. This hotel is OUTSTANDING. I travel a lot and am use to staying in 4 star hotels. I would rate this as a solid 3 to 4 stars. The staff made me feel so... more
