We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was charming, yet the amenities were modernized. The grounds were beautiful. We stayed in the Morning Glory room, and had the best night's sleep there in a long time. The in-room Jacuzzi tub was fantastic. When my boyfriend said he wanted a hearty breakfast, Kris changed her menu a bit just for him.... More

Kris welcomed us to the awesome Sand Rock Farm in mid-March as we traveled down the coast. The grounds and home could not have been more unique and comfortable. She had some good recommendations for restaurants and scenery in the area to make our stay well-rounded. The breakfast was so special and graciously served. We could hardly break away from... More

My wife & I wanted to get away for a one day trip to the Santa Cruz area so I checked the internet and found this gem. Since we depend on reviews, we found this highly rated B&B in Aptos. Of course having a jacuzzi in the room was a prerequisite for me, this place certainly looked like a winner.... More

My husband and I recently got married at the Sand Rock Farm, and our entire wedding party stayed there the weekend of our wedding. Kris did an outstanding job helping us to plan our wedding. She was very prompt and organized and had a lot of connections to local vendors. She was very experienced in the ins and outs of... More

We spent two lovely nights at Sand Rock Farm. The inn is located on 10 acres of beautiful gardens, trees, fountains and is the perfect serene getaway! Our room was.wonderful! We had a balcony (shared with another room), enclosed sunporch and a bathroom with a large jetted tub and a large separate shower. And the bed was very comfortable! Kris,... More

We had a wonderful two nights at the Sand Rock Farm in the Hidden Garden Room. It's a quiet and beautiful setting amidst massive gardens and wildlife. The house itself is interesting, breakfasts were marvelous, proprietress was charming. Our room was very large and comfortable, and it had a big spa just outside the door, which we enjoyed both nights.... More

Sand Rock Farm is a truly special place. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are divine, and the breakfast is truly fabulous. I come here on special occassions with my wife when we have a little extra money to spend on lodging. For a nice place, the prices are reasonable, and they do have deals from time to time. During... If you love the quiet of the redwoods, the beauty of an heirloom garden, the joy of exploring a lovingly restored nineteenth century farm house, this place is for you. I had the privilege of seeing every room and I can tell you, you can't go wrong! Kris, the owner, helped us feel at home and made a delicious breakfast... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights and wished we could have stayed the week. It was everything we wanted. Quiet, private, beautiful, comfortable. Sand Rock has a lot of charm. The beautiful house offers a lot of privacy. We stayed in the Sun Porch room. It had two entrances, one through the main house and another private back... More

My boyfriend and I decided it was time for our first B&B and we were not disappointed. Kris, the owner, was the most wonderful host! Our first day there in the Morning Glory room my boyfriend proposed to me over a lovely bottle of wine that greeted us in the room when we arrived. Needless to say the rest of... More
