The hotel rooms were well apointed with a microwave and decent-sized fridge. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked, but they were satisfactory. Breakfast included traditional continental items as well as scrambled eggs and bacon. The eggs were of an unusual texture and taste, but otherwise everything was good. more

Nothing unexpected here--except the price of $140/night. That was the steepest in our drive across the country. It's what you would expect of an HI Express. Clean and quiet. There's nothing special here, but there's nothing objectionable either. The hotel bills itself as the newest in the area. Very nice hotel. Great service from the staff. Great hot breakfast. Good location. Amazing view of the mountains...or Walmart parking lot depending on which side of hotel you are on. Everything was acceptable nothing special - breakfast below the HIExpress standards - be aware that hotel is on a very busy road - good for one night stopover I feel that is the best hotel in town more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Alamosa for two nights with my daughter and her large dog. The hotel is very clean and the linens are wonderful.
