The best parts of Hotel Aspen were definitely the delicious food for Apres ski, and the great location near downtown and right on the shuttle line was perfect! The rooms are also top-notch, with a little entrance room for taking all of your gear off. I didn't know beforehand that the doors open to the outside, and thought it would... more

Stayed here for two nights ski vacation with my brother. We paid 145 a night, which is a great value as it included breakfast as well as a happy hour buffet that included chili, wine, cookies, beer. The room was big and had a small bar. The hotel structure itself was dated and did not have the best soundproofing, but... more

I stayed at HOTEL ASPEN for a couple of nights in September 2008. I honestly did not know what to expect.. the reviews seemed mixed. Everything is expensive in Aspen.. this is just a fact that you have to be prepared for. HOTEL ASPEN seemed to be one of the few 'reasonably priced' places. HOTEL ASPEN was 'okay'... far from... more

What an unexpected surprise. My friend and I had planned for a cycling weekend on the newly completed bike path from Glenwood Springs to Aspen. We ended up parking at the park in Carbondale and riding to Aspen and back (60 incredibly beautiful miles) before heading to our hotel in Aspen. The check-in was uneventful and made no promises above... more

I came for a conference, and we were looking for an affordable hotel within a few blocks of downtown Aspen. Wish some of the current reviews would have been up when I booked, or we may have rethought this. Pros: 1. Location is good, right on Main Street, and the street noise was never an issue, even though we had... more

My girlfriend and I stayed here on 4-July-2008. Nice, but expensive. Since it was a holiday weekend, the hotel price/rate was quite expensive (nearly $300/night). It is an older building with wall air conditioners, but they try to make up for the building age by providing nice, modern, quality furnishings. However, there may be some electrical problems as the power... more

Let me begin by saying that I did not actually stay at the Hotel Aspen. However, I was supposed to stay there during the extremely busy holiday season. This meant that when I booked my room it was during the cancellation time period (30 days) - in other words my card was charged immediately even though my stay wasn't scheduled... more

Spent a week for skiing and loved it. The updates are nice, the beds are comfortable, and complimentary breakfast and happy hour is great. No, the food wasn't to die for but that's what all the great restaurants are for in town - and you can afford them because you're paying half the price of the other places nearby. It... more

I booked a room for the weekend in hopes for a relaxing weekend with my family. Because we travel with our dogs, we chose this hotel because it's one of a few in the area that allow dogs. When I made my reservation, I requested a Deluxe King room on the first floor, and the person on the phone confirmed... more

We are sorry for the problems with out internet, since your stay we have added 4 additional wireless access points and our provider has been very attentive to our guests needs. We are glad you enjoyed our bedding package, considerable time and energy was spent in selecting the most comfortable linens, down comforter, and pillows. In addition to our heavy...

We arrived in Aspen on October 3rd intending to look at a few hotels before booking one, but were convinced once we saw the rooms at Hotel Aspen. They have obviously been renovated and although a bit dark (our room was on the first floor), was clean and modern. They had great bed linens, towels, robes and even a DVD... more
