I've stayed in better Motel 8s. The place is run down. The second morning, I had no towels and had to schelp to the front desk for one. I was given.... one. I used it as a washcloth, handcloth, bath towel, and floor mat. The second morning, my bed was not made up and I had no shampoo or soap,... more

I took a young child to the Inn at Aspen because of its proximity to Aspen Airport (about a mile or two) and location at the base of Buttermilk, with its childrens' lesson area and beginner/intermediate runs. The hotel was perfect for our need to keep it simple, with just about everything in one place. The rooms are large and... more

Stayed here for one night. Not a bad hotel. The room was clean. The room had a couch and a fireplace in it. Very nice. The room had a refridgerator in it but it was not furnished with any drinks like some hotels in Aspen are. No big deal. The free breakfast in the morning was good. I would recommend... more

Aspen can be extremely expensive and the Inn at Aspen was a pleasant surprise. The only way to be closer to the mountain is to set up a tent outside. You actually see the ski-lift for Buttermilk from the lobby as you walk in the front door. They have Ski-Lockers so you can ski or snowboard all day and drop... more

I stayed at the Inn at Aspen this past weekend. I was in Aspen for a conference that was at Snowmass. The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is right at the base of Buttermilk mountain (about 50 yards from the main lift) and close to the airport. I could get into town in about 5 minutes and get... more

Decent hotel, roughly halfway between the airport and downtown Aspen. Very few people working at the hotel speak good english, but it wasnt much of a problem. The rooms were clean, and of decent quality, but there are only 2 floors, so my room was quite a walk from the lobby. The bathrooms could have been designed better, the toilet... more

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in late June 2008. My input is similar to other reviews - this property is nothing to rave about. Aspen as a whole is quite expensive, so I don't know what prices we could have gotten at other hotels. But for nearly $200/night in the summer, this place really wasn't worth... more

I picked up a co-workers reservation since this hotel has strict cancellation policies and she had decided to cancel her trip to the Aspen Food & Wine Festival. I didn't really know what I was getting myself into, but I thought how bad can "Inn at Aspen" be?, and besides, my company was paying for it. This motel (not an... more

Came to Aspen for a workshop at the Physics Center and was housed in this hotel (instead of the requested studio aparment). Where should I start? The rooms are a mixture of mid-80's furniture with appliances from the early 70's. I had not seen such a microwave in a long time (except maybe at grandma's or a museum). The bed... more

We stayed here in the summer and would certainly return, especially once ski season starts. It really is right at the bottom of the lift, and would be a super convenient location for the slopes. Our room was clean. and adequate for our needs. This was just a quick escape from the heat of Denver with a 19 mo. old..... more
