My family and I have stayed at this hotel many, many times when we have visited Aspen. The rooms are always very clean and nice. Bathroom is always clean too. The staff has always been very friendly. The hotel is within walking distance of a bunch of restaurants etc. We have never had any complaints with this hotel. The nice... more

Our three night stay here was perfect! Our room was very clean and comfortable. It had a balcony, mini-fridge and very comfy beds which felt great after a long day of hiking. There is also an outdoor pool and hot tub for guests to use. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and area attractions. Each... more

We ended up at the AML because it was the only hotel option in Aspen @ $200/night. We had a lower level room, but was pleasantly surprised at the accommodations. 2 comfortable queen beds, nice stereo/CD player, small refrigerator, and a window A/C unit. It was also in a good location and we were able to walk to everything. The... more

We are a family of four and stayed one night in July due to the good reviews on tripadvisor. Some of the reviews were accurate--some not so good. This hotel claims it is boutique like-somewhat true---white duvet comforters, bathrobes. Some say it is a "good value" for Aspen--at $276 a night, I would have expected a little more. Let me... more

This hotel represents excellent value for money. Very good rooms, the best are on the top floor facing Aspen and if you are fussy it's best to specify this. There's a very good apres-ski every day at 4.30, a hot tub (access via the car park but this adds to the fun) and close to bus stops to all the... more

For the price of this hotel you can't beat it in Aspen. It is located within 4 blocks of the downtown area. All restaurants, bars, shopping are within walking distance. If you are a skier the free shuttle to Aspen Mountain, Highlands, Snowmass are within 1 block. We have a dog - if you have a pet this is a... more

I spent one night in August 2007 at this small hotel, which has a '60s feel to it and probably was built then so is a bit dated. I had a garden (basement) room with a noisy air conditioner. Now that I see that pets can stay there I suspect that is why I was feeling allergic through the night...... more

We stayed at the Aspen Mountain Lodge because it was an affordable hotel that allows pets. My daughter's German Pointer was traveling with us. There were at least 12 dogs and two cats there the day we were there. There was one little poodle yapping and the desk clerk got him out of the room (he was left unattended, which... more

Aspen is an expensive town and this hotel for the location, treatment and price it’s the best choice. All rooms are clean and are centered around a huge fireplace and breakfast area in a very atypical way. In some how the rooms need a restyling but they are more than acceptable. Breakfast is complimentary and rich. If you can, try... more
