The Belize Legacy Resort, on Ambergris Caye, is a great place for families and couples to get away from it all. Located seven miles North of San Pedro, this wonderful, secluded, beach resort will exceed all your expectations for your vacation stay in Belize. My daughter and I came to Belize to celebrate her college graduation. Thirty-two units offer beach... more

We just returned home from a week at the Belize Legacy Beach Resort. I had researched hotels in Belize for several months before choosing this one, mostly based on the reviews I've seen on Trip Advisor. I found most of these reviews to be accurate especially in describing the beauty of this resort. It is, as many others have attested,... more

My family and I spent an amazing week at the Legacy...This resort is perfect if you're looking for peace, rest and tranquility....if you plan on going into town alot, you might want to purchase a weekly Island Taxi pass (approx. $75 US) or stay in town !! The only sounds you'll hear are the birds, ocean or, if the electricity isn't... more

Let me start by saying that the actual structures/resort are very nice. However, the rooms and especially the food are waaaay overpriced! You are too far north to walk or bike to San Pedro, so you are dependent on the resort's extremely inconvenient boat schedule or the $50 roundtrip water taxi to get into town. Apparently knowing that, the owner... more

First of all we are neighbors to Belize Legacy not overnight guests. We live full time 2 miles north of Legacy. Since they started the Sunday beach BBQ we have not missed one event. Many times we arrive with our house guests and or neighbors for the best treat on the island. The Resort is always in top notch condition,... more

My husband and I spent a week at the Belize Legacy and I have to say that the location is beautiful-- secluded, quiet, and right on the water. Great snorkeling within kayaking distance. The room was nice, but a number of things were in poor repair and/or broken. The thing that bothered me most was the foul odor and extreme... more

We vacationed at the Legacy for 8 days in February. Our group was comprised of two families, with 4 kids aged 4 to 8 years old. We stayed on the 2nd floor and our two rooms opened up to each other. We had an incredible time. Very low key, no crowds or waiting, plenty of space. The kids loved it.... more

The resort was great and highly recommend to anyone looking for a low-key, relaxing vacation in a quiet environment with access to almost any beach related activity. My wife and I arrived at Belize City International Airport from DFW late (thanks American!) but Tropic Air easily accommodated the delay and got us to San Pedro. The ride from BZE to... more

You may chalk this review up to the six Belikins I have pounded down as soon as I got here, but I think it is probably deeper than that. I first came to Belize ten years ago with a good friend of mine, and remember San Pedro, as being a one sand road town. Stepping off a beautiful TropicAir flight,... more

My husband and I stayed at Belize Legacy Resort for 9 nights in early April. I don't usually write reviews but I loved it so much I am compelled to. We absolutely loved the resort; it's fantastic for families small and large. It looks just like it does on the website, absolutely lovely. The staff is wonderful- incredibly guest oriented... more
